Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Travel Sales Executive to be the frontline of our sales team. You will be the go-to expert for our clients, helping them plan and book their perfect journeys. This role requires a deep understanding of travel products, a flair for sales, and the technical skills to deliver seamless booking experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Client Acquisition: Actively sell flight tickets, hotel rooms, and customized holiday packages to individual and corporate clients.
- GDS Proficiency: Utilize the Global Distribution System (GDS) – such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo – to search, fare quote, and issue air tickets efficiently and accurately.
- Product Expertise: Develop and sell comprehensive travel packages, combining flights, hotels, transfers, and activities to meet client needs and budgets.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional pre- and post-booking support, addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues with professionalism.
- Market Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest travel trends, promotional fares, visa requirements, and destination information.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: A minimum of [5 years] of experience in a similar sales role within the travel industry.
- GDS Proficiency (Mandatory): Must be highly proficient in using at least one major Global Distribution System (GDS).
